Originally launched in late 2017, Windows on Arm provides the quintessential Microsoft OS experience but runs on Arm processing hardware. We typically associate Arm with smartphones but the architecture is growing as a serious competitor to PC staples AMD and Intel.
With Apple brandishing custom Arm-based M1 silicon to differentiate its latest MacBook line and a growing portfolio of Windows on Arm products, Arm-based laptops are increasingly entering mainstream consciousness.
