Infinix has officially entered the foldable phone market with its debut model, the Zero Flip. Opting for a clamshell design, Infinix’s latest offering closely mirrors the recently launched Tecno Phantom V Flip2, given that both brands fall under Transsion Holdings.
The Zero Flip boasts a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED main display with FHD+ resolution, offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 1,400 nits. Complementing this is a secondary 3.64-inch AMOLED cover screen with a 1056 x 1066 px resolution, the same 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 for added durability.
On the camera front, the Zero Flip houses a dual-camera system on its cover display, featuring a 50MP primary shooter (GN5) with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide lens. Additionally, a 50MP front-facing camera is positioned in a punch-hole cutout on the main screen. All three cameras support 4K video recording, and Infinix has also integrated GoPro compatibility, letting users leverage the main display as a live viewfinder for their action shots.
Weighing in at 195 grams, the Zero Flip has a thickness of 16mm when folded and slims down to 7.6mm when unfolded. Its innovative zero-gap hinge allows the phone to close seamlessly without any gaps. The hinge is versatile enough to prop the device at angles between 30 and 150 degrees, effectively turning the phone into a makeshift tripod.
Under the hood, the Zero Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The device runs on XOS 14.5, built atop Android 14, and Infinix promises two major Android updates and three years of security patches. A 4,720mAh battery keeps the phone running, with support for 70W fast charging.
Pricing
Available in two color variants—Rock Black and Blossom Glow—the Infinix Zero Flip is priced at NGN 1,065,000 (roughly $645) in Nigeria. As Infinix plans to roll out the device to more regions, further market availability updates will follow soon.
