How To Convert Any Video To GIFs And Send On WhatsApp

One of the exciting new features added by WhatsApp in the new update is the ability to make GIFs out of any video from your phone, yes!! You read it well, right from your WhatsApp application, no need to use any third party app or website, this new feature makes the chatting and sharing experience even more exciting.

The clip to be converted can be of any length, it doesn't have any limitations, but the GIF must be six(6) seconds or less.

Enough of the explanation, now let's get down to business

How to convert video to GIF and send with WhatsApp:

Shoot a video that you would like to make into a GIF make sure the video is stored on am accessible location in your phone.

Open any WhatsApp chat/conversation.

Tap the attachment icon (the paperclip) at the top right.

Select Gallery.

Select the video that you want to convert into a GIF.



In the video editor that appears, tap the camera icon at the top right once. You should see GIF appear in its place.
